Amazon Affiliates: Easy to Use!

It’s Really Quite Easy to Use

If you could make a few extra bucks here and there by recommending products to your clients, why wouldn’t you? I was recommending a lot of products through my dog training blog and website anyway, and then I figured out I could make a small commission by using Amazon Affiliate links.

Once you have signed up for your account, they make it so easy for non-programmers (like myself) to install the links. They even give you a choice to use either text-only or photo-only links, or a combination of the two. Now my website is full of them! The only catch is, you have to disclose that you are making a commission when people click through and buy any products. This is what I use for a disclosure statement:

“We whole-heartedly recommend all of the following books. The links and photos below are affiliate links, meaning, at no additional cost to you, we will earn a small commission if you click through and make a purchase.”

So if you run a website and know that you can feel good about recommending certain products that will improve your customers’ quality of life, take the extra time to build in these affiliate links so you can get credit for making the sale.
